Mercer Winer, MPH

Public Health Analyst

Mercer has a Master of Public Health in Global Environmental Health from Emory University, following an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago. She has professional experience in several public health sectors, including work in academic research and public hospital analytics. Her role as a research assistant at the University of Chicago has generated several publications on the availability of road traffic accident-related health data in low- and middle-income countries. Additionally, Mercer worked on the Data Core team under NYC Health + Hospital’s Office of Population Health. In general, she is interested in exploring global health issues related to WASH, One Health, environmental toxins, infectious diseases, and women’s health.
