Meara Bowe leads the implementation of Integral Global’s portfolio of immunization and polio eradication activities in Pakistan. This includes the administration and implementation of Pakistan’s National Stop Transmission of Polio Program and technical oversight of consultants assigned to support the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. In addition, Meara provides technical leadership and management of IG’s projects in DRC, Burkina Faso, South Sudan, and Tanzania.
Meara’s work experience includes the areas of Maternal and Child Health, HIV/AIDS, immunization, malaria, and stakeholder engagement program implementation. She completed the STOP Program 2-week Field Training program, STOMP Out Malaria Bootcamp and is a certified HIV/AIDS Testing Counselor. Meara holds an MPH in Global Health from Emory University with a concentration in Community Health and Development and a certificate in Maternal and Child Health. Prior to joining IG, Meara worked as a consultant at the CDC in the Division of Parasitic Diseases and Malaria, worked as a qualitative researcher for the Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance Network in Kenya, and served in the US Peace Corps in Botswana. Meara is a published author in the Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases for her work with the Malaria Branch at CDC.
