Integral Global Health (IGH) conducted a training program for clinicians, public health specialists, and nurses involved in the surveillance, diagnosis, and treatment of Hepatitis patients in the Republic of Uzbekistan, to better support the workforce at the Institute of Virology (IOV). The aim was to develop laboratory quality assurance practices at IOV. Prior to IGH’s program implementation, there was not any practices demonstrated in-country. IGH also worked with the IOV to convene a national steering committee that provided input into hepatitis elimination efforts in-country.
